WashTech SMS Notification Program

Public opt-in documentation for WashTech Alerts (The Carwash People, LLC). Live opt-in happens inside the authenticated WashTech app (User Management). Because that screen is behind login, this public page hosts the exact consent language, a visual recreation of the opt-in UI, and every required policy link for campaign review. This page is not a public signup form and does not collect phone numbers.

Campaign message_flow (copy into Twilio)

Paste the following text into the campaign Message Flow / Opt-in description field

End users are WashTech employees and authorized service technicians of The Carwash People, LLC (brand: WashTech Alerts). This is an internal LOW_VOLUME informational messaging campaign only. WashTech does not message customers or send marketing SMS.

Primary opt-in method (web application / gated employee portal):
1. An authorized WashTech administrator opens the employee’s profile in WashTech User Management at https://washtech.netlify.app/ (login required).
2. The employee provides a mobile phone number on that profile.
3. The employee reviews the SMS consent disclosure shown next to an unchecked checkbox.
4. The employee voluntarily checks the SMS consent checkbox. Consent is optional and is not required to use WashTech or as a condition of employment.
5. WashTech records the mobile number, exact consent wording, consent source, timestamp, and documenting administrator before any messages are sent.

Secondary opt-in method (verbal — same campaign only):
When verbal employee consent is used, the administrator reads the script published at https://washtech.netlify.app/sms-compliance#verbal-script, obtains affirmative agreement, enters the mobile number, checks the SMS consent checkbox with the employee present, and records consent source “Verbal employee consent.”

1. Program Purpose

WashTech sends internal informational text messages only to WashTech employees and authorized service technicians. Messages notify technicians about new service-call assignments, dispatch information, schedule changes, and related work alerts. WashTech does not send SMS messages to customers through this program. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.

2. Who Receives Messages

Only employees or authorized service technicians with a WashTech user profile may receive messages. A technician must voluntarily provide a mobile phone number and agree to receive SMS notifications before WashTech enables texting for that profile.

3. Technician Opt-In Process

  1. A WashTech administrator creates or opens the employee’s profile in User Management at https://washtech.netlify.app/ (authenticated app).
  2. The employee or technician provides the mobile number where they want to receive work notifications.
  3. The employee reviews the complete SMS consent disclosure (exact wording below and in the hosted screenshot recreation).
  4. The SMS checkbox is unchecked by default.
  5. The employee voluntarily agrees by checking the SMS consent checkbox.
  6. The consent source, consent wording, mobile number, date, time, and documenting administrator are recorded.
  7. WashTech sends assignment notifications only after consent has been recorded.
  8. SMS consent is optional and is not required as a condition of employment or accessing the WashTech application.
  9. A technician may reply STOP at any time to disable further messages.
  10. A technician may reply HELP for assistance.

5. Exact Consent Disclosure

I agree to receive informational SMS notifications from WashTech at the mobile number provided. Messages may include new service-call assignments, schedule changes, dispatch information, and work-related alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

6. Verbal consent script

If the consent source is “Verbal employee consent,” the administrator reads the following script and obtains an affirmative “yes” before recording consent in WashTech:

“WashTech would like to send you informational text messages about service-call assignments, schedule changes, dispatch information, and related work alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. Our Privacy Policy is at washtech.netlify.app/privacy-policy and SMS Terms are at washtech.netlify.app/sms-terms. Do you agree to receive these WashTech SMS notifications at the mobile number we have on file?”

After an affirmative answer, the administrator enters or confirms the mobile number, checks the SMS consent checkbox with the employee present, selects consent source “Verbal employee consent,” and saves the profile. No messages are sent before that record is saved.

7. Example Messages

WashTech Alert: A new service call has been assigned to you. Customer: ABC Car Wash. Location: Tampa, FL. Scheduled: July 15 at 9:00 AM. Open WashTech for full details. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

WashTech Alert: The schedule for your assigned service call has changed. Open WashTech for updated job information. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

WashTech Alerts: You receive internal service-call and dispatch notifications from WashTech. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

8. Opt-Out Process

Technicians may reply STOP to any WashTech SMS message. WashTech records the opt-out, disables SMS notifications for that technician, and prevents future assignment messages. A technician who has opted out will not be re-enrolled without new documented consent.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records collected for the WashTech Alerts program are used only to provide internal work-related notifications. Mobile information, SMS consent information, and opt-in records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate the messaging service.
