WashTech SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 14, 2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern participation in the WashTech Alerts text messaging program. WashTech Alerts provides internal informational and operational text messages to WashTech employees and authorized service technicians who have voluntarily agreed to receive them.

1. Program Name

Program Name: WashTech Alerts

2. Program Description

WashTech Alerts sends internal work-related SMS notifications to consenting employees and authorized service technicians.

Messages may include:

WashTech Alerts does not send marketing, advertising, sales, or promotional messages.

Customers do not receive SMS messages through this program.

3. Eligibility

Only WashTech employees and authorized service technicians with an active WashTech user profile are eligible to participate.

Participation is voluntary. SMS consent is not required as a condition of employment, contractor status, purchasing services, receiving services, or using other available WashTech features.

4. How to Enroll

To enroll, an eligible employee or authorized technician must:

  1. Provide a valid mobile phone number.
  2. Review the WashTech SMS consent disclosure.
  3. Actively agree to receive SMS notifications.
  4. Have the consent source, consent wording, mobile number, date, and time documented in the technician’s WashTech profile.

The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default.

Existing technicians are not automatically enrolled.

WashTech does not purchase SMS consent lists or obtain consent from third-party lead sources.

6. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the number of service calls, assignments, schedule changes, and operational alerts associated with the technician.

Some technicians may receive no messages during periods when they have no assignments. Other technicians may receive multiple messages when operational activity is higher.

7. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the technician’s mobile carrier and wireless service plan.

WashTech and The Carwash People, LLC are not responsible for carrier charges associated with receiving or responding to SMS messages.

8. Supported Carriers

Delivery of SMS messages is subject to wireless carrier availability and network conditions. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Opting Out

Technicians may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a WashTech Alerts message.

After a valid STOP request:

A technician who has opted out will not be enrolled again without new documented consent.

Other recognized opt-out keywords may be processed when supported by the messaging provider, but replying STOP is the recommended method.

10. Getting Help

Technicians may reply HELP for assistance.

The HELP response will provide information about the WashTech Alerts program and direct the technician to contact their WashTech administrator.

11. Example Messages

WashTech Alert: A new service call has been assigned to you. Customer: ABC Car Wash. Location: Tampa, FL. Scheduled: July 15 at 9:00 AM. Open WashTech for full details. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

WashTech Alert: The schedule for your assigned service call has changed. Open WashTech for updated job information. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

WashTech Alerts: You receive internal service-call and dispatch notifications from WashTech. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. For assistance, contact your WashTech administrator.

12. Privacy

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, consent information, and messaging data are handled according to the WashTech Privacy Policy.

Mobile information and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be provided only to service providers necessary to operate the messaging program, and those providers may not use it for their own marketing purposes.

13. Changes to the Program

WashTech may update these SMS Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in the messaging program, application functionality, legal requirements, carrier requirements, or compliance standards.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date shown at the top of this page.

14. Suspension or Termination

WashTech may suspend or terminate the messaging program, an individual enrollment, or delivery to a specific number when necessary for security, compliance, employment-status changes, technical issues, misuse, or legal requirements.
