WashTech Privacy Policy

WashTech is an internal service-management application used to manage service calls, technician assignments, scheduling, work orders, invoices, and related business operations. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when WashTech is used by authorized administrators, dispatchers, employees, and service technicians.
1. Information We Collect
WashTech may collect and store information necessary to operate the service-management system, including:
- Authorized user names and account information
- Employee and technician contact information
- Mobile phone numbers provided for internal SMS notifications
- Service-call and work-order information
- Customer business names, service locations, contact information, and job details entered by authorized users
- Technician assignments, schedules, notes, job status, and invoice information
- SMS consent status, consent wording, consent source, consent timestamp, and opt-out status
- Application activity, security logs, browser information, and technical information necessary to operate and protect the system
2. How Information Is Used
WashTech uses collected information to:
- Authenticate and manage authorized users
- Create and manage service calls and work orders
- Assign technicians and manage schedules
- Provide internal dispatch and job notifications
- Create and manage invoices and service records
- Maintain SMS consent and opt-out records
- Improve application reliability and security
- Prevent unauthorized access, fraud, misuse, and technical problems
- Meet legal, regulatory, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations
3. Internal SMS Notification Program
WashTech may send informational SMS messages to employees and authorized service technicians who have voluntarily agreed to receive them.
Messages may include:
- New service-call assignments
- Dispatch information
- Schedule changes
- Work-order updates
- Other internal work-related alerts
Message frequency varies based on service-call activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Technicians may reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS notifications or HELP for assistance.
SMS consent is optional. WashTech does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this program. WashTech does not use this SMS program to communicate with customers.
4. Mobile Information and SMS Consent
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information and SMS consent records are used only to provide and administer the WashTech internal notification program.
Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent information may be disclosed only to service providers that are necessary to operate the messaging service, such as telecommunications providers, hosting providers, and messaging-platform providers. These providers may use the information only to provide services on behalf of WashTech and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. How SMS Consent Is Obtained
Before internal SMS notifications are enabled, the employee or authorized technician is shown the SMS consent disclosure in WashTech User Management.
The technician must voluntarily provide a mobile phone number and actively agree to receive messages. The consent checkbox is unchecked by default.
WashTech records the consent wording, consent source, date and time of consent, mobile phone number, and the administrator who documented the consent when applicable.
A technician who has not provided consent, or who has opted out, will not receive assignment SMS notifications.
6. Opting Out of SMS Notifications
Technicians may reply STOP to any WashTech SMS message. Once an opt-out request is received, WashTech disables further SMS notifications for that mobile number, except for any confirmation message required to acknowledge the opt-out.
Technicians may reply HELP for program assistance.
A technician who has opted out will not be re-enrolled without new documented consent.
8. Data Security
WashTech uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
No electronic system can guarantee absolute security. Authorized users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and reporting suspected unauthorized access.
9. Data Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate WashTech, maintain business and service records, document SMS consent and opt-out requests, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal or accounting requirements.
10. Access and Corrections
Authorized users may review or update their account and contact information through WashTech or by contacting their WashTech administrator.
Employees and technicians may request correction of their mobile number or SMS consent status. An opt-out request may also be submitted at any time by replying STOP to a WashTech SMS message.
11. Children’s Privacy
WashTech is a business service-management application and is not intended for use by children under 13. WashTech does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the application, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations. The effective date shown at the top of the policy will be updated when material changes are made.
